My new Avatar from a coin bought years back in an OGH
When I saw it at Long Beach back in the 90's I had to have it.

Thanks for the kind words all, she's the crown Jewell...

Right now it's in a PCGS MS62 but I see an upgrade in her future...

    Here are some larger photos...

I just sold 19 of my 20 Indian Eagles in the B&M ANA sale. I was pretty sure there were a number of those I told myself I'd never sell. So much for "never". image

Awesome coins everyone. Thank you for sharing! Someday I hope to perfect my camera skills and post some nice pieces as well.

I would say my 1798 Early dollar in a vf35 slab, but if I came across one in a 40-45 slab with a decent look to it and for a decent price I would probably try to pull a trade + cash.

This is the last coin I would sell. I pulled this coin out of a dealers junk box in the Mid 80s as an 8 yr old.
This is also the first coin I ever submitted to a tpg, felt like I finally had a real coin. The coin is much nicer
than an AU50, but it will never get cracked or sold, so I really don't care what the holder says

  • Nice DDR fishteeth! I agree, looks much better than a 50!

I don't think I'd ever sell this '59 PL Frankie. It's one of my favorite Franklins in my collection.

What's the story with this one Pennylady? Pattern?

I crossed this coin from an NGC 65 Star holder and it was given a PCGS 64 - now - I'll never sell it.
Its from my Grandfather's birthyear set - most of which I have sold - save one or two:
