Cash for Commons! CU Townhall Meeting Tonite - Let's Unite!

Hey!

Since the Cash for Clunkers program is doing so well...

What about us?

WE WANT CASH FOR COMMONS!

The poor card collector who's seen their 90s sets diminished by overproduction! We need relief! We want our fair share!

So, come on US Govt! We want to be able to trade in our 90-91-92UD commons for cash!

We only want what's coming to us - just like GM!

We want cash!

I have good news and bad news.

The good news is that you will be eligible for a bailout.

The bad news is that you will be getting funds toward the purchase of the most overpriced, ugliest set that will come out this year.
The design aesthetic will be closely based on 1991 Fleer baseball. It will be $4.99 per pack for 3 cards, with 2 hits (autographs and/or game-used) per 24-pack box.
The autograph checklist will have a heavy emphasis on veteran players you wouldn't pick in fantasy baseball.
Many of the "game-used" cards will be pants, batting practice jerseys, or warmup jackets.
There will be more different colored parallels, with print runs ranging from 2999 to 1, than a Pacific Prism and a Diamond Kings set combined.

Thank you for shopping Government Cards.

As stated below, things are not what they seem.

    -----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

I would make a fortune , if there were some cash for clunkers-cards bailout. Wake up-- wake up.

This is no longer a bad dream.

    I like Tool's lyrics better...

Angels on the sideline, puzzled and amused. Why did Father give these humans free will? Now they're all confused. Don't these talking monkeys know that Eden has enough to go around? Plenty in this holy garden, silly monkeys where there's one you're bound to divide it right in two.
