BS!!! all he did was get loaded and run over a guy. Whats the big deal anyway? If he played for FSU or 'The U" of Miami, all he would have to do is extra wind sprints after practice.

  • That whole deal stunk. He paid untold hundreds of thousands or millions to the victims family. Either he was innocent and should have kept his money or guilty and he should have spent 8 or 10 years in jail. This 2 tiered justice system is unconscienable.

Have you ever got behind the wheel after having a few drinks?

Nope. I love my beer, but I love my life (and the other's around me) more. It's not worth the risk. Being a responsible adult means that sometimes I can't drink because I don't have a ride. And I'm okay with that. Stalworth got off extremely easy. 5 years in the joint would have been much more appropriate.

Your SEC brother UF has more "thugs" than Miami or FSU does now. 24 arrests since Urban Meyer's been there compared to 13 at FSU in the same time period. It's all about winning though, so Gators could care less about becoming exactly like a program they used to make fun of (Miami).

Oh,well ok but most of us have been behind the wheel at least once in their life after a few drinks. A million different things can cause an accident but alcohol always gets the blame.

I'm not saying the people that do that are bad people. Driving can be dangerous and I just don't see the need to increase the odds that I'll kill myself or someone else because I decided that I wanted a few beers and wasn't smart enough to line up an alternate means of transportation. Not drinking and driving is the one thing I can control behind the wheel. And there is a reason that it is illegal.
