Maybe I'm missing something, but of the almost 30 FI 2002 50 pence jubilee coins, I can't find a "Trooping of the colours" listed. Some of the 28.28g sterling silver proofs show mintages of 15,000, and some of the the 39.94g 22 carat gold proof have mintages of 50. Others have unlisted mintages.

Even with those low mintages, it looks almost like there was one proof struck for each resident of the Falklands!

16,117 -- is that for the Queen Mom in Copper-nickel or silver?

Yeah the Falkland Is coin looks like a giftware NCLT coin! And the COA says it is Cu-Ni, just to confuse things more!

16,117 is the actual mintage of the silver proof 2002 Queen Mom at least in the single coin issue.

There doesn't seem to be any clear cut numbers posted on the 2002 Queen Mom Five Pound in Cu-Ni.

The Royal Mint's website shows a total mintage of 3,489,243 for the Five Pound coin, but this would be inclusive of both the Queen Mom and the Golden Jubilee that was issued that year.

Other sites are showing a combined mintage of 3,687,882. Not sure where they are obtaining higher numbers but I would go with the Royal Mint's figures.
