How long does it take for PSA to list your order?

How long it take PSA to show they have received your cards? The post office showed that PSA received my card yesterday, but there is'nt anything in my order status. Just curious on how long it takes.

I am about to join PSA, does PSA not guarantee their service levels? and how quick do they grade and return the cards on those cheap monthly specials they run?

  • A 5 day turnaround is 5 business days from the time they login the order. Almost all specials are 45 business day turnaround which means your grades can pop somewhere between 1 day and 9 weeks.

This was explained to you last week. You paid to get your grades in 5 days, and that is what you got. PSA does not run the USPS, you'll get your cards back as soon as your mailman delivers them.
  • Good Morning,
And I've got two recieved Tues the 4th, still not logged in. This is the longest in 6-7 10 years it has taken get a sub logged in.

If PSA is setting up at a National show, this effects your turnaround time, and they say so in their disclaimer. Check the show schedule.

Yay... my submission that I hand delivered to them at the National on Saturday, 8/1, just logged this morning!

I was really starting to wonder if the 2-card sub I gave them on Sunday at the National would pop before the Saturday sub logged image

    That would have been sweet!

The one I handed them on Saturday 8/1 hasn't been logged yet, but here's to hope! image

They received my July special on August 4th and it still hasnt been logged in yet. As for once they grade the cards and ship. registered mail from Ca to Tn generally takes 6-8 days, so in essence if you sent something 5 day turnaround, you are looking at a possible 20 days even if they log your cards in the day they get them.

My last 5 day turnaround, took 14 days from here to there back to here again.

  • Unfortunately i believe that psa uses a service called "click n ship". Which would explain the slow delivery because that means the post office actually doesnt transit your package until 4-5 days after drop-off. So thats why it takes 6-8 days to recieve your package after the "psa has shipped your item" email.

No actually, registered mail can take that long. nI dont use click and ship, but it can take 6 days to get there as well

I am still waiting for mine to list. Mine was received about 8/3 or so.

Does PSA sometimes not list it and still just send it when graded?

I've subbed 7 times since I joined last year. One of them was the free voucher and 6 have been specials. I have never waited more that 5 days for any of my subs to pop. They usually log them in a day or two after they show received at USPS. I have one that arrived at PSA on Friday so we'll see when they log it and when it pops (50 cards, August Special).

I called on Friday and when I mailed the card I forgot to put what kind of service on the box. My dumb A** has to wait until next week or so for PSA to log it. I was using the 10 day service.

She said if you don't put what kind of service on the box it goes to the end of the line. Little food for thought when you submit.

I don't think a company the size of PSA, shipping many registered mail parcels daily, would use click'n'ship.

Not sure what you're trying to say when you say "the post office actually doesnt transit your package until 4-5 days after drop-off". Every package that arrives in my post office leaves the same day for the distribution plant. All parcels are processed and leave the DC the same day with exception of parcel post and media mail, which may delay on a heavy day. We don't have heavy days any more so there isn't much delay.

Registered takes longer because it is treated differently and doesn't ever go with other mail.

I did that too. It was my first sub so I didn't know any better, I think it took 3 weeks before I even knew to ask.

They just logged my submission as 8/17 even though it has been there almost 2 weeks. I did write on the box what special it was. I hope they work on it faster to catch up on time missed.
  • My order isn't as bad as some. CC renewal Submission (5 day turnaround). I shipped it on 7/31, PSA logged as received on 8/7, no poppage yet. And my obsessive nature has me clicking on "my account" approx. 100-150 times a day, lol. And I have to stop myself from looking at the "shared orders" page, cuz that's causing me to shout swears from my office. image
