question on .5 grading system

maybe a dumb question but since the change over to the 1/2 point grading system, does PSA even bother giving out 9.5's on vintage cards or do they just skip it and grade a 10 instead? I have not seen any 9.5.

    There is NO 9.5 for PSA.

    BGS has a 9.5, which is Gem Mint.

    PSA does the .5 scale up to 8.5, then 9 or 10.

    One thing I HATE about the .5 scale image Cards that would have normally came back Mint 9's are now 8.5's image
