PUJOLS EBAY SCAM - BEWARE

Some jerk is trying to sell the 2001 Bowman Chrome Autograph rookie card . . . I can assure you that this is a scam as the card pictured belongs to me.

    Post a link to the suspect auction and a pic of you with the same card. The board will back you as long as you can prove your claim.

    EBAY ITEM 180394690870. This is the exact same scan I posted to the Pujols Rookie Autograph Set (Rocky Mountain Collection). I've tried to find a way to report this to eBay but I can't easily sort through all of the maze of useless information in the Trust and Safety section. Any help getting this card off eBay would be MUCH APPRECIATED. Thanks, Min

    Right hand side of the page, about 3 inches down, click on "report item". Let them know that it is a unique serial # and you have it in your posession. Have a pic on or scan on todays newspaper if they need more proof. Good luck getting the a**clown removed.

    I do not know if this scam is connected in any way . . . I just got an email today from a past association in the dealer community who asked if the Pujols Autograph rookie was mine . . . I immediately recognized that it was and confirmed my belief . . . now I am trying to get this card off eBay. I would love to get this guy thrown in jail as well. Anyone on this board who knows how to report a scam to the Trust & Safety group, please help. I have emailed friends of mine who work at eBay . . . they are in different departments, but I am hoping that they can get some attention to this matter.

    on the right side under the info that has the item number, there's a button that says report item - start there

    I just reported it as stolen property

    in text i put "stolen from known owner"

    maybe they'll think the actual card is stolen, not just the pic

    Thank you everybody for your help. I used the "report this item" link, but I did not find it very helpful, especially since they limit the number of characters that you can use to describe what is happening. I also emailed my friends who work at eBay and I am hopeful that they will get things going as well. If everybody else were to also report the item, that could be helpful.

    have you contacted him and asked him anything yet?

    might want contact his local police department. Think only the winning bidder would be able to pull his info though

    edit - if you can even do that anymore

    the address looks a little funky - hope i didn't find another scam - looks like what I remember it being. Just don't give up your password until you know it's legit.

    I just signed in with a fake name and email and was in que with a 5 minute wait. If you want to try that, go for it

    Very nice... you have two of those... and I have the only two Donruss Signatures auto RC PSA 10's... maybe there is some kind of deal to be made. Don't know what you have into the BC's though.
