WTB PSA 9 HOF RCs

I am looking for the following HOF RCs in PSA 9 nq condition.
Please PM me picture and price for any PSA 9 on the list below.
I already have PSA 9 examples of 1970 and above HOF RCs that are not on this list.

I am willing to pay $125 for a well centered 77 PSA 9 Dantley and $500 for a well centered 74 PSA 9 Gervin. Both buy prices are well over VCP.

Thanks,

Robb

    Of course. Very deservedly so.
"My father would womanize, he would drink. He would make outrageous claims like he invented the question mark. Sometimes he would accuse chestnuts of being lazy. The sort of general malaise that only the genius possess and the insane lament. Our childhood was typical. Summers in Rangoon, luge lessons. In the spring we'd make meat helmets. When we were insolent we were placed in a burlap bag and beaten with reeds - pretty standard really."

  • Good luck! I hope you get some hits here. With all the great rips you've shared, you deserve help with this project from all of us. Sorry I don't have any though.

There's a PSA 9 Potvin on eBay now. Be prepared though - it's gonna go for a LOT. There was also a PSA 9 Federko on eBay last week that got ended early.

BBCE listed a nice PSA 9 '71 Mean Joe Greene RC on eBay tonight:

  • The Federko 9 went for big $$ based on my offer being rejected -- more than what I paid for a Potvin 9!!

I had a snipe set for $1500 on the Federko but the seller ended the auction early. I was kinda bummed. I really hope it went for more than that.
I will probably bid on the Potvin.
I had a chance to buy the last Greene PSA 9 on eBay for $3500 but didn't pull the trigger. $3999 is too high for that card right now. I think if it goes to auction it only gets $3000-$3300. But I will definitely keep my eye on it.

  • Federko at $1500?? No way it sold for that. I'll be sure to email you when I get my hands on one. I know the pop count is low (for now) but it's Bernie Federko, not Bernie Parent. The crap card stock of the late 60's and 70's hockey makes some of the cards hard to find. The Parent, Savard, Perreault, Salming, McDonald, Shutt, Gainey and Federko cards come right to mind.

But nothing a few years won't fix. There's quite a bit of ungraded stuff out there too. If only I could find it...

    Updated first post.

I am willing to pay $125 for a well centered 77 PSA 9 Dantley and $500 for a well centered 74 PSA 9 Gervin. Both buy prices are well over VCP.
Figured I would throw out some prices before I go and purchase 10 1977 basketball packs from BBCE in hopes of pulling a gradable Dantley.

    Thanks,

    Robb
  • This far along in your search it's probably better, cheaper and easier to just pay more then you should for cards already graded then searching for them. Good luck.

Purchased a 71 Sanders, and 2001 Bowman Chrome Pujols auto to knock them off the list. Have a BGS Brady 2000 Playoff Contenders that I plan to crack and sub as well.
