Font types on PSA Label

Hi,
I am new to the message board, and I am interested in purchasing a mickey mantle PSA7 1956 topps from someone. However, I notice that the font type is different than many others on some of the other PSA labels that I have seen. I have read that PSA did at one time change the font type for their labels. Is there any differences in the grading standards that PSA had in the older days as compared to now? I read from someone that PSA graded cards graded years ago, didnt fall under as stricter standards as they do today. I've held the mantle in hand and I like the quality of it though. I have checked it out on the certification list and it matches, but I just wanted to get some opinions verifying that different fonts were used and whether the older font style effects the current value or the markets ideology about the standards compared to yesteryear.
Thanks for your help!

There are some fake psa slabs out there, and one of the most common fake slabs is the 56 topps mantle. If it's at all possible, get a scan or photo of the card and show it here. The fakes have the correct cert #s but the cards are not actually graded.
A batch of them were sold on ebay over the last 2 or 3 years, many by some scammers in california but they've been sold all over the US to unsuspecting buyers. Many were sold on craigslist and then the buyers tried to flip them quick on ebay.
