A little off topic but Im lovin' it!

Yesterday Im playing in a benefit Softball tournament to raise money for a local Firefighters kid who is fighting cancer and hit a walkoff HR to win the Tourney!

We were down 7 runs in the bottom of the 7th last ups, we scrap for 7 runs to tie it and I get to the plate, and crack a BOMB! Over the light & net in canter ( about .280 ft ) I do a Griffey and walk about five steps down the first base line with my arm up in the air and do my run around the base with the whole team waiting for me at home and ofcourse I jump on home plate and get mobbed by all my teamates image

It was pretty freakin' cool! image

    You should walk up there with some shin and forearm guards next season, that would be hilarious!

    Nice! I miss softball, I havent played since I was 25, Im 35 now. Too many other hobbies and my business took over the time required. But back in the day I jacked a few, but I dont think I ever hit a walk off? Congrats... I agree with wearing a shin protector an arm guard lol...

    Am I speaking Chinese?

    For those of you who havnt played softball in years the game has evolved quite nicely, I started back in '91 with aluminum bats and basically "mush" balls, nowadays with these doublewall bats and super red dot balls you can really drive the ball well, the newest bats are made of composite and if you use the red dots which are hard as baseballs they can really go, Im 5'8 185 and I use a composite bat and can consistently hit 300 foot shots- its a ton of fun..
