I decided to change calling the bathroom the John and renamed it the Jim. I feel so much better saying I went to the Jim this morning.

As an error collector, I have NONE.

I collect major errors that you don't need a lupe for, this kind of "error" just doesn't do anything for me.

Show me an off center 2009 cent and I would be impressed.

    How about a 2000 Off-center?

    Or maybe a 2001 Off-center?

How many of those do you have?

Quite a few, those are very common dates for off centers, but still a major error that you can see without a lupe.

I just bought a 1962 Off Center Nickel ...... If you can find another let me know as this date is extremely rare.

On the 2000 OC cent, well check out my auctions if you want to see something very rare, an Off Center 2000 type II proof Hub reverse with the wide AM.

No kidding. Not even a nibble at $8.95. Wish I'd have known that before I bought them. image

However, we are straying from the original post in that the question was asked "Who has a Lincoln Formative Years Proof DDR-002?" and not "Who thinks that this is rare?" or "Who here is interested in discussing a Proof DDR-002?" or even "Is this an error (which its not) or is the a variety (which it is)?"

As for the "On the 2000 OC cent, well check out my auctions if you want to see something very rare, an Off Center 2000 type II proof Hub reverse with the wide AM.", if I wanted to show something which is rare, I would have brought up my 1971-S Prototype Eisenhower but, thats not what I was shooting for.

What I am shooting for is I would like to find out how many folks have a Proof DDR-002 Lincoln in either their 2009 Proof Sets or their 2009 Silver Proof sets?

    Thats all.

As a subset question, I'd like to know who the folks are, either through a response r through a PM, that are stating they have "More than 15" just to see if they are intentionally trying to screw up the poll or if they in fact do have more than 15.

    Thanks to all who responded.

Perhaps the future wil indicate how many of these exist and maybe, just maybe, some of you folks will get "lucky" in your Satin Finish Mint Sets. I expect the market will once again respond to that scenario.

I got a double thumb coin in my satin finish mint set. I wondered if it was rare then set it aside in the SDB.
