1991 Topps Tiffany Grading Question. (Plus a few 89 Score FB scans)

Has anyone ever graded a 91 Topps Tiffany that had some missing gloss? It looks as though the gloss coat came up short. I had two of these and they were both like this. Is this common? Has anyone ever graded any of these and will PSA count it against it? I sent this card to BGS last year as there were no 9.5s.

The other scans are some 89 score football cards I was thinking of submitting. Just thought I would throw them in this thread in case anyone wanted to see them or had any input.

The gloss is short at the top edge. The inner sleeve glared and makes it hard to see, but you can see on the right upper corner how it is short.

crack it out and go over it with finger nail polish then send it back in, imo.

I don't have any experience with the '91 Tiffany's but those Score RCs are very sharp. All look like easy 9's. I think the L/R centering keeps the Aikman from having a strong shot at a 10 but you never know. How's the upper left corner on the bottom Sanders? It looks sharp enough for a 9 but looks like it might not be good enough for a 10?

I picked up a '91 Topps Chipper Tiffany BCCG 10 about a couple of years ago, cracked it out only to see the same thing you're talking about.
Seemed like the "glossiness" ended about 90% of the way up the card. I wasn't able to see it before cracking it out... I figured PSA would ding it too, so I sub'd it to beckett.
Came back a BGS 9.0 with a 9, 9.5, 9.5, and 8.5 sub grades. I quickly re-sold it and made a couple bucks... who knows, maybe PSA wouldn't ding you too much?????

    edit'd because I can't spell.
