Is there interest in this?

This was the Premier Edition of Baseball Cards Magazine which was published by Bob Lemke quarterly than later became Beckett then Tuff Stuff.Date of issue was Spring 1981.

    There was never any connection with Beckett.

    Baseball Cards eventually changed its name to Sports Cards.

    Do you have the 1st printing (100,000 copies) or the 2nd (25,000 copies)? I believe the 2nd printing has a bound-in insert card and better color quality on the Perez-Steele ad.

    For real rarity, you should try to find a copy of the "false cover" promotional piece that was done prior to publication of the premiere issue. It is exactly the same as the issued cover, except the '55 at bottom is Jackie Robinson, rather than Mays.
