East Coast National:White Plains

I've never been to a show this size so I am really looking forward to it. The drawback is that I am going on Sunday and from what I've been reading about the big National that just ended is that a lot of dealers were packed up
and had left by the last day of the show. But I'm sure I will still find a ton of things to look at and maybe make a purchase or two. I know I am getting Whitey Ford, Juan Marichal and Frank Howard autos, other than
that, I will just be looking for noting in particular.

Anyone else ever go to this show and can tell me what to expect? Will the prices be outrageous? Is there usually a good variety, I assume there would be with 300 tables. I know the big grading companies will
be there as well as some other big hobby players.

Will any of you be in attendance? It may be fun to meet other members if any of you will be there. I plan on being there the whole day until it closes at 4, unless I spend all my money before that. image

been there about 15 times.. great show and dealers.. not sure what you are looking for but a lot of the memorabilia is way over priced and the dealers tend to have the same stuff for ages as it does not move... cards..some deals to be had but am not into the vintage buying recently so not sure pricing on items.. alot of supply dealers there and pretty reasonable on that spectrum... jimmy runs a great show and has tons of great dealers.. you will love just walking around and you wouold not believe the stuff available...I will be there on fri or sat...two ways of thinking on these shows as far as going last day..perhaps more reasonable prices, but more than likely what you may need will be gone by then...take care and enjoy, ivan

I've only been to that show once and enjoyed it very much. Just like most other shows things can tend to be overpriced, but I think most of the dealers will try to work with you on reasonable offers.
