what do you think is the most profitable sport cards to collect right now

If you have to choose modern cards to collect and try and make a profit on, what would they be and what product? I know bowman baseball is doing pretty well. Is there anything else out there? Is Baseball the most profitable?

Try vintage, low pop mid to late 50's commons in hi-grade. But time is running out!!!
Kiss me twice.....let's party.

It can be done, it's just difficult and you have to have a fair amount of luck on your side.

I would say try the 1960's too!
websites that can help you on these young stars. Knowing when to sell is key.

-Brady in 00 and dumped in 07 around week 9.
-If you bought Pujols Bowman Chromes in 01, even though it was not a cheap card then.
-Buying 01 SP Authentic Tigers back then and dumped in 07.
There are other examples out there.
All you have to do is foresee the future and buy low and sell high. I say buy Tavaris Jackson and Kevin O'Connell Exquisite Rookies.
WTB: 2001 Leaf Rookies & Stars Longevity: Ryan Jensen #/25
I'd stick to true rarities in post war, or scarce cards and/or condition rarities in Pre WW2. Or anything 19th Century.
Any of those will take a decent amount of capital though, and probably some strong connections to buy and then sell with minimal seller fees.
Always looking for Topps Salesman Samples, pre '51 unopened packs, E90-2, E91a, N690 Kalamazoo Bats, and T204 Square Frame Ramly's
for a handsome profit.
There are many modern collectors who will pay good coin for the cards they need
Also Bowman Chrome and Bowman Sterling would be good choices
Always looking for Chipper Jones cards.
Im a very focused collector of cards from 1909 - 2012...LOL
who were hot before the season. You could of made your money there, Bowman Chrome is the only exception where there might be a few years
before a player can prove himself. Hitting .400 in triple A might be as hot as a guy gets, if you hold until he hits the majors and he starts off
0-12 then you have missed the boat.
Every year there are 5-10 guys in bowman chrome baseball who start out hot. If you can get them you can make good money selling. At that point there will
be another 20-30 players who at some point in the next few years will get hot. If you were buying at 3 bucks per, you can make 25-30 per. David Wright
was in this group back in 02, remember who was hot back then...Dontrelle Willis. Were you buying Willis RC's at 25 per or Wright at 6 per?
Brady is the one exception in football, he has held value. Remember who else was hot? Moss in 99, Jamal Lewis in 2000. Edge in 2001, Portis in 2002, Carson
Palmer in 2003, SJax in 2004...anyone see a trend? Most of those guys are worthless now. If you sold at the right time when these guys were hot you would
of made big money on everyone with the possible exception of Carson.
Chrome is where the big money is at. Sure everything is crap shoot, but less with that product.

Almost seems like an oxymoron.

Baseball America has good research info on young players. One of many sites. Freedom Cardboard has alot of prospectors that came from the Beckett Board.
As mentioned, it's a gamble, timing is everything as well as amount paid.
Yes, Bowman Chrome is a good choice.
There's alot of prospectors out there and many who are good at what they do.
Before you spend any $, I'd do alot of research. It's a second job to many.
Have different investments. Long term vs. call up etc.
Good Luck !
You have to remind me.. I got in for 3k shares at 1.22 sold it all at 5 flat to feed this hobby
