I usually dont like these type of posts but........

I purchased this card sight unseen and only went by what the dealer was saying. I was wondering what everyone's opinion was on this card? What do you think it will grade and will it being this off center crush the grade?? I have seen alot of 57's that I thought were OC but were not given a qualifier. This card has no creases and has its original gloss. Please let me know your opinions.

The centering to me looks within limits for a PSA 7. It's about 2:1 centering on the bottom of the front.

<< <i>Centering must be approximately 70/30 to 75/25 or better on the front and 90/10 or better on the back. >>

PSA 7...centering is within the limits. I would ask for no qualifiers when you submit.

Thanks for the replies everyone...based on the fact this this is probably a 7...is it worthwhile getting it graded?? I guess I can look at Ebay to determine what 7's are going for but I can help but think the OC status, even if it is not given a qualifier would not make it worth my while. Any thoughts?

    I measure it 65/35 L/R and 55/45 T/B.

The going rate for card #107 in PSA 7 is right around $9. That's right on the borderline for getting it graded (IMO).

Bob is right. Most higher pop 7's are under $11. Centering is the main thing that drives up the price for the grade on 7's and 8's. I do think the card would get a 7, but it might be better suited for someones raw set.

  • I would say straight 7.

Why don't you usually like these posts? Thats one of the reasons we are all here, to be able to ask each other questions...

I am not sure why I dont like them. many times a scan is too small to even make a guess as to what the grade might be. Or maybe it was just me thinking I was wasting everyone's time asking about what is basically a common card. But I do appreciate the replies and it helps me make my decision...I am just going to throw it on Ebay unless someone wants to make an offer on the boards here. (not intentionally trying to spam the card!) Centering is a issue for me as I would take a nicely centered card over square corners any day!!

Again, thanks everyone for your time!!
