About 12 years ago I owned a card shop in the Chicago area when Michael Jordan was almost God-like. I could never keep any nice Jordan Items in the store and I was always looking for something unique to display and sell. It was during one of these searches that I discovered an artist named Rick Rush who did pretty good sports paintings and he had completed a few Jordan pieces that looked nice. (Do a google search on Rick Rush and you will see that he is a better known artist and not just some kid down the street!) So after some fact finding I ordered a number of these hand numbered lithographs that are 16 X 20 in size. I actually sold a good amount of these lithographs but forgot I had these put away for myself. These lithographs are part of Rick Rush's Millenium Series and come hand numbered by the artist enclosed in its own portfolio. These also come with a letter from the publisher attesting to the fact that these lithographs are limited editions. These lithos have never been out of its special portfolio and if it matters...comes from a non smoking home.
I have for sale or trade 1 large lithograph titled "Sunday Drive" which features Jordan being defended by Gary Payton and Detlof Schrempf. This litho is hand numbered by the artist 709/1000 on the front.
I also have 2 artist proofs of one of the nicest sports lithographs that I have seen, "Shooting Stars" that features Jordan going one on one with Magic Johnson. These are ARTIST PROOFS and are hand numbered. There were only 100 artist proofs made and these proofs are usually reserved for the artist himself when lithographs are printed.
The regular lithograph retailed for 129.00 and the artist proofs retailed for 225.00. Obviously I am not looking for anywhere near that. I would like to trade for PSA or SGC graded star cards or of course cash is always welcome!! Please let me know if you have some interest as I would like to move these out of my closet soon!!. I am sure we can come to an agreement or trade.
