One of my favorite coins is offered for sale...
The coin will be offered through a specialty dealer for $2000 back of PCGS Price guide. PM me if you are interested.
Another highly-valued, infrequently-offered coin will be announced for sale in short order. Both coins will be available at the ANA to view and/or purchase.

I wish I'd have kept the coin as it proceeded to more than triple in value.
That is a beautiful '61-O. It has the frequently seen weakness in the lower portion of the date.
Norseman,
Do you wish you had kept the 61-O or 70-CC? The CC is listed in the PCGS price guide as one of the biggest gainers over the past year.

Yes I do, I put the money into Silver and Palladium and though I've had some nice gains on both I would've done better in the coins.
Interesting that I traded the 1861-0 double eagle in on the 1870-cc eagle and in hindsight I should've kept the 1861-0 and traded someething else.
By the way I bought the 1861-0 from Heritage for $7,250 on a make offer and traded it a year later for a $2,000 profit on the 70-cc, I also bought a nice 1891-cc double eagle in a PCGS-55 holder from Doug Winter when he was at Pinnacle for around $6,300 and traded it off for 44 ounces of Palladium a year later.
