I had it slabbed, I have hated it ever since....so last night I set it free and returned it to it;s original holder...Tidy House.....

What is cool about that holder is that it says "today's sandwich coins contain at most 40% silver" - narrowing the time of issue down to a very small range.

New collectors, please educate yourself before spending money on coins; there are people who believe that using numismatic knowledge to rip the naïve is what this hobby is all about.

Dull and lifeless looking in the slab, it really seems that this one wants to be in that old, acidy, brownish holder.

Yours appears to be a "1887 VAM-14A Near Date, Clashed n & st"..( just a guess)....nice looking coin
