Mail an item with delivery confirmation, and it shows it was shipped and scanned at the persons city but never delivered, then buyer leaves a negative? And then see the buyer is selling the same coin he stated never received. Do you think the postal gods just never scan some items upon delivery and then unscrupulous people take advantage?

Go online and file a complaint with the Postal Inspectors.
Not sure which you use for info, but don't use Ebay's link to tracking info. Copy the shipping # and use the USPS track and confirm function on their own site. It's much more accurate.
says they've been delivered, is sufficient enough for the buyer to come clean. I tell them that we'll have to get the PO
involved if he doesn't have them. Just check with family members and look around for a 6x10 yellow envelope, etc.
Getting the PO involved threat is all I've ever needed. They always seem to be found.

Not exactly the same senerio but very similar.

Took the words right out of my mouth!

I had a similar problem. Sold a coin and delivery confirm showed delivery. Spent almost 2 weeks talking to mine and his PO and his carrier trying to locate it. Received an attempted charge back and one day I see it posted here and the buyer bragging about how pretty it is. Called him out on it. I wont name any names, but that discussion happened on this board around a year ago. Small world.
Successful Trades: Swampboy,
The name is LEE!
Also, I put restricted delivery on one item, and someone else signed for it. So far, the person hasn't filed a dispute. It's been 30 days and no feedback left. Hope it doesn't haunt me or....
I'll haunt the Post Office about it.
You should as well. I hope it's slabbed &/or you have really great pictures with readily identifiable indicators on the coin.
Skip the window workers at the PO and ask for the postmaster first thing.
on the USPS website there should be a number for the postal inspector's service if the postmaster isn't getting you anywhere.
