1963 ?D? Quarter found in change.

Standing at the cashier, counting my money out, I noticed a certain ping...
It was silver! Only bad thing was I had just enough on me for my purchase and had to spend the thing for face... I told the cashier, a nice guy I talk to all the time what it was and he said he collected Jeffersons.
He must have been a casual collector because he had no idea about the silver content i coinage prior to 65...
I smiled and said I would bring him in a book.
This is the second time Ive had to spend silver at a store... I hate that!

Finally!
Yea, it was a must have purchase.
The cashier collects and after telling him what it was, I saw him stash it in the register, he owns the place.
No worries though, its a case of catch and release.
Oh well, something gained, something lost.
<< <i>Why in the first place would you carry silver coins in your change pocket...
Why would any guy carry his rocket in his pocket? Because some don't have rockets they only have little firecrackers..
