19Lyds19Lyds Posts: 26,491 ✭✭✭✭
Does anybody know which CONECA number PCGS is using for the 1964 Accented Hair DDO FS-103 coin? (Coin #391379, 391380, 391381)

I decided to change calling the bathroom the John and renamed it the Jim. I feel so much better saying I went to the Jim this morning.

The name is LEE!

The 1964 Accented Hair FS-103 is listed on page 82 of James Wiles' "The Kennedy Half Dollar Book: An Attribution and Pricing Guide" with the attributions and characteristics RBinTex mentioned. Good closeups on IBER, too!

    Best Regards,

Thanks georgio11 but RBinTex already established that the coin was a DDO-015. I should have seen this on the CONECA site! image

The question was "which CONECA number PCGS is using for the 1964 Accented Hair DDO FS-103 coin?" since no cross reference is given in the Cherry Pickers Guide and there are quite a few DDO Accented Hair coins. DDO-003, DDO-005, DDO-010, DDO-015, DDO-019, DDO-022. DDO-026, DDO-027, DDO-028, and DDO-033. Additionally, James does not make specific reference to FS numbers in the Attribution guide.

My inquiry to PCGS yielded mixed results but thanks to the forum, I think I've gotten it straight with them. (and me.)

I understood the question just fine, was just pointing out another reference that you might not have been aware of. Good luck.
