I believe the "football strip card" you have listed may have been cut from the outside cover sleeve of a 1963 Ohio Blue Tip Match Box (box of wooden matches).
I have the baseball and football match boxes and the picture is identical. Also, I've never seen that picture used for a football card. Of course, I could be wrong as there are some obscure strip cards floating around out there. The approx. size of the matchbox top box is 1 7/16" x 2 1/16" if that helps you determine anything.
Anyway, I just thought you might want to know since you mentioned you weren't sure where it came from.
