FSH- 1909 Matte Proof Lincoln in a PCGS Rattler graded PR64RB

For sale here is a 1909 Matte Proof Lincoln PCGS graded PR64RB. Housed in a first generation "Rattler" holder. Finding these little gems in Rattler holders is quite elusive, only a handful remain. This example is very nice, with nearly full red color on both sides. A pair of minor spots on the reverse to the left and under ONE are noted, but do not detract extensively from the coin's stunning eye appeal. The surfaces are more lustrous than the photos show. The holder itself is in very good condition with only a few minor marks. No major scratches or chips. Obverse die #1, the same die used to produce the 1909 VDB Matte Proofs, can be identified by the die scratch under LIBERTY as well as in front of Lincoln's nose.
