More thoughts from Sneak Preview Night @The National

* Got Charley Trippi on my HOF Full size helmet and picked up tickets for 5 more additions to it Friday and Saturday (I do have a signed Trippi Cardinals mini available for trade for a similar HOF mini I need)
* I am not so sure the VIP ticket was worth it but I will be going back Thurs-Saturday. Promos are so-so
* I know it was only the sneak preview but there didn't seem to be all that many people there.
* I did pick up some nice 73 Football and am nearing completion on my set. The funniest purchase was from crotchety old lady that watched me like a hawk while I looked through the album. When she totaled it up and added tax the total came to $32.42 and she wouldn't budge off that price. I thought that was kind of odd. I never had someone not round off a purchase. They flat out wouldn't deal. Needless to say I won't be going back.
* Several other dealers refused to move off their high prices. That's okay it's a buyers market. I will keep looking.
* I did find a few deals and will be heading back for them including several signed minis.
* There were lots of dealers with .25/$1.00/50% off boxes. They seemed to be doing the most business.
