I just had a 3 card order pop. I sent in a 1951 TOPPS CONNIE MACK'S ALL-STARS EDWARD T.COLLINS that was graded as a 4, a 1951 TOPPS BLUE BACK PANEL 34 - EARL TORGESON 19 - PHIL MASI that graded as a 7 and a 1951 TOPPS BLUE BACK PANEL 48 - BILLY COX 52 - SAM CHAPMAN that graded a 9. I am thrilled on this one as the highest graded before it was a 7. Can anyone tell me if there are any sales in the VCP for any Blue Back Panel in PSA 7 or PSA 9?

  • Nice job Robert, you posted the panels on the raw card saturday thread right? Nice job. I truthfully only thought there were only redback panels, so I have no idea on price. I believe you said your Dad got them for you. Where did he find them if I may ask. Great find and awesome grades. Congrats

I did post them on raw card saturday. He bought them several years ago from a collector on ebay. He was working on the 51 Blue Back Set in PSA 8 or better and a seller offered him these after my dad purchased 5 cards from him. There are only about 50 graded Blue Back Panels and I believe mine will be the 8th PSA 9 with no 10's.

Next time I get to a major show, if I ever get to another, I will probably take them to see what I am offered. However; my 2 boys will get them, eventually.
