Show those pocket pieces

How many of our members carry pocket pieces? Here's mine, I got this 1941 free with another coin I purchased. Still working on my photo skills.

Not sure exactly why I carry mine, kinda like a security blanket. Gives me something to do while waiting in line at the store.

I carry mine so it may wear down to a PO1, hope I live long enough. I also use it for my cards cover,

Cool, I like it. It's funny, because this is classic pocket wear, and yet I bet if you submitted that coin, it would come back cleaned. image

Nothing but honest pocket piece wear on this eagle. I use a binder clip as my money clip that travels in the same pocket as the pocket piece.
The scratches I'm sure come from the binder clip.

From now on I'll carry my currency away from the pocket piece.

Just recovered from a bank customer's hoard.

I'd think this was someone's pocket piece at one time.

I'll now carry it to PO01
note: the reeding is well worn but still visible around the entire edge.

  • I was sitting looking at my coin the one day, and thought, wow, this really looks cleaned. It made me wonder what I passed up in the past, by having that thought. It's just that you never know.

I carry a harshly cleaned 1926 Sesquicentennial half, it's been a while since I've photographed it though.

Started carrying this shortly after getting my first job out of college, purchased from an early paycheck

    image

Added this one to it shortly after the birth of my daughter

    image

Someday after I'm gone, maybe she will hold them and say, "he carried those things for years and years"
