    nice, dumping all the salary will make the Pirates profitable. Heck why not sell the team to Montreal....nothing but expansion players left now.

    Bay Area radio's all a'buzz about the idea of getting Sanchez. It'd probably be the most obvious upgrade on the field for the Giants this year. So far, the 5 guys who've been playing 2nd base have combined for a .229 avg, .289 obp, and a .318 slg (.607 ops) while starting at 2nd. Freddy's .296/.334/.442 (.756 ops).

    I feel bad for Pirates fans that actually spent the money to have a current players name stitched on their jersey. They're like the '98 Marlins, except they didn't win the year before...

    Then again, the Giants don't really need to trade for someone to play "DL". We've got enough guys playing that position.
