PCGS Submission Question...

Let's say I want to submit a coin for the Quarterly Grading Special and I want to submit three coins for economy grading.

I assume that the above scenario would constitute two submission forms and separate shipping charges for each submission form. Is this right or can I combine the two orders into one return shipping charge ( and maybe save a few bucks)?

    2 orders...2 shipping charges.

You only save money on the shipping TO PCGS. Other than that pay your separate return shipping charges.
I decided to change calling the bathroom the John and renamed it the Jim. I feel so much better saying I went to the Jim this morning.

Why can't PCGS fix their own shipping system? You should not have to pay two separate shipping fees for two separate submissions. If PCGS were to fix this problem, then they would get a lot more business.

Here is how to fix it: PCGS needs to hire a computer programmer that will re-program their system so that, whenever a customer requests, all submissions will be shipped together with one shipping fee. That means that PCGS has to hold the completed slabs until all coins have completed their processing. It really isn't that hard to do. The other guys have figured out how to do it!

Here is why it would create more revenue for PCGS: Whenever a customer submits coins of one type (like crossover), then there really would be no significant reason to not also submit one or two re-grades or other coins.

Everybody would win, except the post office.

Hey PCGS! Get your act together!

correct answer; it's a profit center; look at what they charge you on the chart vs. what you pay on the way in
