VCP Requests

Maybe I'm getting myself in trouble with forum members here but isn't providing VCP prices to non-subscribers like stealing? I wouldn't highlight it if there weren't multiple requests a day for VCP information. I'm a subscriber and I find the information valuable and informative. If too many get freebie information, it may get to the point where there won't be enough subscribers to sustain it.

By the way, I am in no way affiliated with VCP. I'm actually surprised VCP doesn't police these sites though. Maybe I'm off base and they allow their information to be freely disseminated?

    I agree, the subscription amounts are reasonable. The smallest one can get you on track with current prices for a sale or purchase.

    VCP guy does police the site, but it seems his only concern is to provide a better service and watch for complaints that he can address.

    Yes I do monitor the site and allowing members to give out prices here and there only keeps us on the front pages so when new people come along they always ask what is VCP. And more times then not we get them joining up for our service, as long as it is not abused.

    I suppose that depends on how you use it. I would say it is very user friendly.

    I really don't know how we can make it more user friendly after all the new additions we made over the last year, what are we missing?

    When adding an entire set in, is there a mass update feature or do I have to add it in card-by-card?

    Any consideration to track raw card auctions and/or complete set sales on eBay? I know the data would be a bit bogus due to poor grading by many sellers but it could be useful information.

    How about unopened pack sales tracking?

    Just a few questions I've thought of in the short time I've been using the site.

    There is a Add Set to my Want List of My Collection button on the set profile page. When you click on it a list of every card appears that you can edit and once finished click the add button on the bottom right.

    We cover unopened packs for all sports you just need to do a search and put in unopen in the field.

    Raw cards is subjective to what the seller states and as you know most of the time it is a lie. We are considering adding a Raw section but is still off in the future until we get a lot of other new features completed on the site.

    My error, I haven't tryed it lately to see if the changes have may it more friendly.

    VCP is great. Wish they would offer a limited (weekly) service. It would be nice to have this week while attending the National.

    Thanks! I'll give it a try.

    One other suggestion, it would be great if there was a discount for signing up for 1 year vs month-to-month.

    Also, is there a way to print a set summary with each card's average/latest price next to it? That way we can print up a price guide we can take to shows.
