Just curious what most folks think.
Do you prefer lighting to be slightly darker allowing for shadows and a little more character or do you like the coin fully lit up removing the shadows and making some of the details seem dull?

Well, the funny thing about photos is most of them do look like a coin in hand it just depends on the angle you look at it.
I like the 2 light pic. The colors on the fully lit one seem to fade a bit.

Not sure what brand they are but they are 23W CFL's and are about 18" away from the coin.
