nothing to hide. when i became a authenticator for JSA i was automatically banned from this site. i did nothing wrong. i have since stopped working for JSA. i use psa/dna & jsa/bgs both for cards to getencapulated. i would use psa/dna more on memorabilia if i could drive to there office. jsa is very close to my house & i dont have to pay for shipping & wait for weeks for my items to come back.
i'm friends with people at psa & jsa. they both in my opinion do a great job.
Buying or trading for these signed Jeter rc's: 1992 GCL, 93 Stadium Club, 93 Greensboro,, 93 South Atlantic League, 93 Topps Marlins & Rockies,, 94 Classic Tampa, 94 Procards Tampa, 94 Florida State League & 95 Columbus Clippers.
<< <i>MinorLeagueCards is right. The buybacks are so obviously fake that you are better off explaining what actually looks correct on the auto than what looks off.
edit: in an attempt to point out what is correct, I'm hard pressed to find anything. the letters comprising the name look more like mountains than loops. The D is the wrong shape and too narrow. the k and the J isn't one fluid motion. The J starts in the middle of a letter, on the same line, almost cutting off whatever letter it wants to pretend to be. The intersection of the T and the J are all wrong, it's not fluid. alot of pen lift. the ER in jeter is wrong.
To try to go more detailed than that is impossible, because it doesn't even resemble a legit jeter autograph. >>
If Minorleaguesource gave this explaination in the 1st place I would not even say a word. I would rather he give this type of analysis that spout off about how something is fake. I know authentication is a educated guess but if he would have provided his analysis like this a long time ago he could have prevented alot of garbage being thrown at him.
Nathaniel1960- Not middle school gossip. If you dont know about the subject, why comment? He's a well known patch faker and sells fraudulent buyback autos under multiple aliases and rakes in thousands.
*edited to add- some care about the hobby enough to try and clean it up and look out for other collectors.

Perhaps it was more the tone of some posters, rather than the subject matter, that was such a turn off to me. Normally I find these topics interesting. I know the subject well, just not the specifics of this particular fradulent ebayer. Why did my comment strike such a nerve, anyways? I'll admit, it was a bit drive-by. Whatever, still think it comes across as a bunch of chatty Cathy's with their panties in a bunch.
Edited to add, I've got over 300 posts on this board, so that counts for something, right?
Kiss me once, shame on you. Kiss me twice.....let's party.
I would expect nothing less from someone with a Tim and Eric's Awesome Show Great Job avatar.
Burge has been discussed many times on here so if you haven't done your homework, move along. You talk about middle school kids and you are trying to be the hall monitor.

Why do you hate TEASGJ so much? That's the third time you've knocked them. I'll admit, their humor is a bit, AHEM, middle school, but that's what makes it fun.
Moving along now. I've got some chatty gossip threads to catch up on.

That DB is obviously on the phone while he's standing there with that HOF'er, because he has that highly important blue tooth lodged in his dome. What is it with those things anyway? Are we too lazy as a society to hold a phone up to our ear that we need to wear a blue tooth EVEN when we're NOT on the phone? what a tool...

Excellent! How did he respond? Call you a "slanderer?"
