I have used teletrade in the past and didnt care for thier silly fees. I thought they charged a minimum of 15% or $15 no matter what you bought. So silly me, I see a bunch of auctions that would help me fill out my registry. Yeah, I find out its 15% PLUS $8 per listing. Sigh.....O well, lesson learned I guess.

It's 15% minimum of $8, not both. This is very common for auction houses to do this.

Well, I use Teletrade a lot and sometimes wish I hadn't but for what I collect, sometimes its the only venue available. And I'm talking across all venues including eBay!

What is "silly" about an auction fee? 15% is a perfectly reasonable auction fee, as is $8.

Not when you are filling out registry pieces - the $8 becomes a very large part of its purchase price
15 percent of total sale is fair - $8 per auction item is not in my opinion ...

Especially when you pick up an item not readily available elsewhere for $6.00.
