Looks like toning over toning. The original rainbow looks NT super original. The second checkered toning I have never in almost 20 years looking at silver coins.
I've "experimented" with bounty towelettes soaked with sulfurous solutions. Those round "dots" of toning are quite suspicious if you ask me!

Actually, it appears to be the pattern of a high open area perforated metal. Perhaps the coin was placed lying on a perforated aluminum or stainless steel sheet while being cooked in an oven. In any case, that pattern of circles in a hexagonal lattice is blatantly unnatural and screams AT.
