1998 SP authentic Basketball set

Hello, just wondering if there is anyone else on the board that collects the 1998 Sp authentic Basketball set. I've listed my set on the registry and would like some more 10's to add to it.

I have the completed PSA 9 set. I'll begin to upgrade to PSA 10s soon.

Are you the person that has the complete PSA 9 set with commons? That's a pretty nice set. You have any 10's for trade? I'd like to build the 10 set but wow is that going to take some time to finish.

I can spend the cash on building it but I don't want to take the time. Putting together the PSA 10 set with grading took way too much time. I must have gone through hundreds of SP RC's.

Nice cards man. After all the grading I've gone through, I had the PSA 9 set too. Some 9's I had looked better than the 10's I've gone through...still totally understand some of the grades I got but hey what can you do.

Just got back onto the board. I checked the pop. report for this set. It will be tough for you to take the short cut if you want to complete the 10s. There are very few commons graded 10s, more 9s but not that many. They're probably in the hands of player collectors.

By the wy, anybody putting the insert sets together from this release? I'm surprised to se it listed so quickly. I had only submitted my requests a few months ago!!! Those are extremely tough especially the Sign of the Times set... wow!

I have the insert sets of the nba2k, 1st class, and Michael all complete but ungraded. Would it be worth it to have them graded?

Yes definitely. I have been looking for mint cards from those sets as well. I'm almost complete on the 1st Class set but still need many from the other sets especially the SOTT. In my opinion, having them grded is much better especially if you have mint cards.

I had a complete set of SOTT but sold them a year ago as a group in one auction. I wish that I would have kept them. The guy who bought them graded the Carter and got a 10 supposedly.

That's incredible considering there are several Gold version that are really hard to come by. I rarely see them oup for auction anymore, and they are really condition sensitive too.

Well guys, I never really had any interest in the insert sets from 98. My main goal would be to get the all 90 base cards in psa 10 to go along with my 30 psa 10 rc's. Adding the insert sets to the list would just be maddness.
