Figured out what's wrong with new PSA slabs--"I want the red truck!"

This one's a piece of junk! they're too fat in the middle.
Be careful--if you stack a few then squeeze the middle of the pile repeatedly trying to flatten it out--you'll scuff the holders.
PSA really needs to get a grip on this. Not only can you not stack more than 20 without the pile tipping over, the surface scuffs cant be wiped off and they're showing up on scans.

Please...please, PSA: dump them where Topps dumped those old overstock 52 high numbers. Now!
I guess the new slabs are not so bad for a seller, but for a collector, who wants to keep cards organized, they are deadly.

Please get with your vendor and make the corrections. Not good..
<< <i>My recent sub came back with the card and flip sealed in one sheet of lamination. >>
Are you referring to the plastic sheet they put under smaller sized or die cut cards?

<< <i>I bet PSA won't use the new holder if you were to send in a T206 Wagner! >>
They would ,if it was from them two clowns ( I think from Ohio ) and their fake Wagner.
Actually , they would probably send it in a body-bag.
My bad.
<< <i>I wonder if the new slabs are designed to be more tamper resistant. It's worth the inconvenience of them not stacking perfectly and also scratching easily if it means the card inside was actually graded by PSA. >>
I'm not sure Jim. If they were, they most likely would have been touted as such. Unless they were and I missed it?
I would think it's just a cost cutting implement.

When we first heard about the "problem," I too thought
it was a long overdue security enhancement. Now, I am
not sure.
If the slabs go into many pieces when dropped/tampered,
the bad guys would have problems.
As noted, it seems that PSA would comment if the slabs
were "safer."
I dunno.
