We need a Live Rip..OK...80/81 Basketball..

I bought 10 packs of 80-81 Basketball so I figured we need to rip them....

Hoping for a Bird/Erving/Magic RC ..

I promise I wont have more than the allotted amount of cards per pack ( MMNYC) ..ok Nick

If you do pull a Bird/Magic/Erving and if it has a slight flaw, IE, print defect, centering, snow, etc. and you don't want to grade it, then I'd be interested in purchasing it to get it signed for my HOF signed rookie card collection. I've got the card signed by Magic, but I sent it to New England Picture Company over a couple months ago for a Larry Bird signing and so far it's never taken place and I don't really know if it will or if they took my card and signing fee.

An Abdul Jeelani sighting. He scored the first points in Dallas Mavericks history if I remember correctly. I used to listen to all their early games on radio. When I was shooting buckets through a pulled out wire coat hanger I put on top of my door with a small nerf ball listening to the Mavs games, I was always Abdul Jeelani!!!

Somehow I knew these packs would end up getting ripped live on the boards. Glad you had fun ripping them. Make sure you look for 10s throughout the commons- the low pops usually bring decent money ($100+). Even some common 9s bring $50+. If you could pull 10 on the one Magic, that would be nice as well.

I remember beeing at a show a looong time ago, maybe around 1994 or so, and people were ripping these $90(I think $110, can't remember) packs and I was hoping they would pull that Bird/Magic RC. I liked many cards in there, but good luck next time for that Bird/Magic RC.

If you don't mind me asking, how much does this product cost these days?
