Darn it, now I am hooked on copper.
I met Charmy at the Fremont show today and I was casually looking for an Indian Cent type coin that would not break the bank.
Well, I looked through a few handfuls and came up with this. It will take a while to get the lighting right but these should show why I got hooked quick and will be casually looking again at the next Santa Clara show

I am, however, always suspect of that particular color of blue.

He had it filled with pattern coins and key dates. He had a 1858 indian head cent, I think his flying eagle was either a 56 or a pattern (I didn't see it too well). He had a ms 62 FB 1916d dime. And many MANY MANY more. It must have been a half million dollar type album.
<< <i>I met Charmy this morning as well. She seems like a truly nice person. Show was a bit on the busy side and there was a guy there that had an INSANE 7070 album.

Must have just missed you, I was there from the opening. Sounds like a great album, wish I could have seen it.

Wow, I rolled in about 10:15 or 10:30 so yeah, probably the spot you vacated was the one I stepped into. His album was beyond anything I have ever seen, and I didn't even get the best view. He was an older gentleman that seemed like he really had a great time putting his set together. Not someone that just bought a bunch of eye candy, but really enjoyed his own stuff. I enjoyed just listening to him talk about his set.

Yikes! I assume they were all cracked out?

Most if not all were, and the labels were in the album along with the coins.
He also had an off center strike 1943 cent and Ike dollar, 1909 S indian, 1909 sVDB linc. His seated halves were pretty cool (sorta reminiscent of a trade dollar) and ... well the whole dang album was just a total chubby to look at.
