Any 2009 Silver Eagle news?

Has anyone heard anything on this yet? Still says suspended on USM website..anyone with any inside info?

    is it possible the 2009 proofs will not be struck?

    I've heard rumblings that it may be minted, that the West Point mint is gathering materials. However, baring an actual online sale date and page on the Mint's website, I wouldn't really trust much. As Michael pointed out today on his Mint News Blog, the Mint's public statements have been contradicting each other a lot lately, and also the product page has been seeing frequent revisions.

    Yeah, it does look like the left hand at the Mint doesnt know what the right hand is doing...thanks. I guess we will see how it plays out. Maybe some news by the end of next month hopefully.
