Every time I finally get a focus, a goal and a system together to try and build a decent Registry set; some poster here comes along
with a "shiny thing" and off I go on another tangent.
Since I started lurking here I've started skidding off in the direction of: FARthings for Pete's sake :+), MOs!, Thalers!, danged ANNA's!.
I guess it'll be something as exotic as Elmer Fudd lunch boxes eventually.
Right now, it's MEDALS-Woo Hoo :+)
I hope some posters will drag theirs out and post them. In my current obsessive compulsive mode I'll probably mortgage
the farm and shoot an offer. Doesn't seem to matter just WHAT it is anymore.
Gotta have it
No,no- the kids and the cat are all right honey.
It's just that I got my PCGS grades.

LOL. I am also constantly trying to avoid those posted temptations and stay on focus.
My problem is not what to collect. It's what not to collect.
FOR SALE Items
You're a goner, fer sure.
I too have felt the tug of the "Far Side" more and more, but have not crossed over into actually trying to collect exonumia.
Well... OK... there is that Seated dime love token set.
But I haven't done medals and such, yet. Aside from a few pieces I have bought for resale. I enjoyed them, briefly.
I'm actually looking a little at Hard Times Tokens and stuff from that era, now. I blame "coinsarefun", and "Lotsoluck", and people like that. I actually took the Rulau encyclopedia off the shelf yesterday. "Savoyspecial" has also influenced my recent interest in exonumia.
Oh, yeah- the previous respondent in the post above mine has ALWAYS been a bad influence, haha.
Hmm... Maybe I'm a goner, too.
But not yet- I'm still fighting the urge.
AND NO, I WILL NOT START COLLECTING CONDER TOKENS!
(Got one recently, though. Whoops.)
But aren't they all.
I don't know whether to congratulate you or weep for you.
And thanks to the others who're opening their candy jars.
