Go ahead and make your best guess, I'll post the grade and my thoughts after TDN has a chance to give his, i.e. hopefully when this thread is done it will be educational.

Wow,
No one got it.
Genuine, Cleaned
Personally I would net it at about a 45 or 50.
Now for my comments: I wanted to post a challenge to show how difficult it really is to grade a coin by the photo's even when the detail is there and the photos are large enough to see most everything.

<< <i>45 - or 50 if there's more luster than the pic appears to show >>
Getting closer and the hint is there is no more luster than the image shows.
Very Nice pictures and coin !!

What do you usually get when you have this much detail and no luster?

<< <i>I'm afraid you just didn't set the bar low enough with the hints, LOL! Still a nice looking coin, and shows how hard it can be to spot a cleaning from photos. >>
I guess another thing I forgot to mention is if someone is on a budget you can get pretty good looking coins with great strikes in genuine holders for much less than beat up lower graded "problem free" versions.

Excellent point! I think the Genuine service from PCGS is a good thing.

It's had a steel punch taken to it!
I'd call it an AU53 chopmarked and that's being conservative.

<< <i>I have seen a lot worse coins graded.Crack it out and resubmit it,unless the cleaning is very obvious with the coin in hand.I say its AU-50+. >>
This belongs to a photography client, he is seriously considering it.
