I started re-shooting with a Nikon PK-3 (27.5) extension tube. It really cuts down on the glare.

Nice copper everyone, especially the 1917 error drwstr. Here's an error I posted a while ago. It's an 1886 Indian cent with a really neat clamshell error (split planchet). I recently sent it in to NGC since they have the new holders that show the rim, and it came back MS65 RB.

And here's another error I also posted a while back. The consensus was that a piece of thread was left from a cloth used to clean the dies and it got stamped into the coin. You can see it go from the cheek back to the feathers, then all the way down to the date.

Newp 1919-? Broadstruck with Indented Obverse NGC MS63BN. This error occurred when two planchets were fed between the dies blocking the collar die upon which a broadstrike resulted with this cent being indented by a second cent planchet on the obverse at 6 o'clock. 1919 Philly Lincolns are a pretty common year for Broadstuck errors, but I felt this was a neat multi error worth adding to my early Lincolns. I've known of this error for years and it's the earliest indented Lincoln I've ever seen as the indent occupies approximately 30 percent of the obverse design. It's also a huge B/S as the overall diameter is the size of a nickle.

Got this one in a couple of weeks back. It is heading out for some new family portraits.

The coin is definitely not worth the cost of the TrueView these days. I was going to send it end to replace the cracked slab and figured what the heck. Let Phil take a look at it.
