2004 Topps Retired Signature Autograph set

Has anybody done any part of this? I know there are some very pricey autos in it, but I think, after stumbling upon a picture of the Fergie Jenkins card, that I like it and may start slowly. Did the autos come out of the box/pack encased? Also, are they regular card stock or "chrome"? Any help or detailed photos anybody could provide would be helpful.

    The regular cards a white stock, they came in 2004 Topps retired signature boxes, with 1 auto per pack. Keys are really hard to pull.

    If I remember correctly, the autos were like "chrome" and also encased/uncirculated. I cracked out and subbed a Molitor from the set a few months ago.
