What should I expect to pay for 1953 TOPPS PSA-7 Baseball Commons?

I am aware that it would depend upon the population, my questions is in relation to SMR? General ballpark #'s is what I am hoping to get as I am seeking to start this set and am trying to look down the road aways to see what it may cost to complete. Any advice is appreciated. Thanks

Good luck on this one. It's doable in PSA 7 without breaking the bank or trying your patience looking for the cards you need.

<< <i>A subscription to www.vintagecardprices.com is something that I've found invaluable. It's $12.99 a month or less to find out about recent sales prices in all grades for individual vintage cards. I overpaid for several cards until I used this service. It's more than paid for itself. Sheesh, that sounds like some sort of paid testimonial. >>

I just recently sold many 1953 Topps cards.
With that said, how was the centering?
IMO cards centered do very well while those OC don't.
Also, if you are happy with the deal what does it matter?
Steve
On average I was getting 75% of SMR.
However, it all depends on the player too. There are commons and there are commons.
Did you get any SP's?

Good advice on by Steve (WinPitcher) to purchase the centered copies. Besides the resale, the eye appeal of a PSA 7 from this set is outstanding. Awesome color and design.
Shane
good luck with it
collecting RAW Topps baseball cards 1952 Highs to 1972. looking for collector grade (somewhere between psa 4-7 condition). let me know what you have, I'll take it, I want to finish sets, I must have something you can use for trade.
looking for Topps 71-72 hi's-62-53-54-55-59, I have these sets started
Here's one of my lowest grade '53s posted below. I think that it illustrates how the terrific art coupled with the smart design displays terrificly even in lesser condition. Happy Collecting. 1953 Topps is truly one of the nicest baseball sets ever conceived and implemented.
<< <i>That is the information I was hoping to get, I have no idea how you find that stuff out but I really appreciate it. One last question and I will shut up, are there 4 or 5 commons that I should expect to pay premiums for in relative comparison to others in this set?
Sincerely,
Tom >>
Three cards that I had to go really strong on were #154 Dick Groat (paid about $100 over SMR), #278 Willie Miranda (around a $600 - $800 common High SP card) and #280 Milt Bolling (same as Miranda or higher).
