UHR Limit being removed from 1 and increased to 10

Effective July 27, 2009 at 12:00 noon (ET): The United States Mint will adjust the household order limit on the 2009 Ultra High Relief Double Eagle Gold Coin from a limit of one (1) coin per household to ten (10) coins per household. The household order limit will be re-evaluated on a regular basis and the United States Mint will either extend, adjust or remove the limit as needed.

I saw an ad in National Geographic promoting these.
That was my reaction as well.
I knew it would happen.
I have the pamphlet and that is enough for me.

I guess that you are referring to my contribution to the thread. For me it was a treat because I think the mint did a splendid job of recreating the art work of Saint-Gaudens. I think that this was the intent of the mint to offer them to the masses for a profit above melt. If people want to consider them BULLION, so be it. Just my two cents.
