I guess this is coming from a collector's point of view rather than an investor's, but I think that the one that I purchased is absolutely stunning. To have many of them would only keep me from purchasing other numismatic treats.

I have seen dozens of these; some look stunning others so, so. Some have weak strikes or luster that is subdued. It might take ordering 10, picking the best one and send the other 9 back.

  • I just had to add that the coin is absolutely beautiful. I was going to sell it, but I couldn't bring myself to do it.

P.S. the 3 google ads on top of this page are all selling BULLION! Is this bullion or a numismatic treat?

Good thing I don't see Google ads.

I saw an ad in National Geographic promoting these.

I guess that you are referring to my contribution to the thread. For me it was a treat because I think the mint did a splendid job of recreating the art work of Saint-Gaudens. I think that this was the intent of the mint to offer them to the masses for a profit above melt. If people want to consider them BULLION, so be it. Just my two cents.
