Brooklyn Dodger fans .... Poppa needs your help!

LukeEaster's recent thread, about his Brooklyn Dodgers signed letter, reminded me of something that I was trying to do for years, but completely forgot about it.

The photo of Ebbets Field below contains 20 sigs that I obtained years ago. I remember 19 of them, but for the life of me, I can't make out the one in the infield grass a hair left and slightly above Mickey Owen's sig.

    No problem; I had gotten Podres a couple times myself while he was the pitching coach for the Phillies

    It was one of my father's faves! He was good friends with Al Gionfriddo; might have been his neighbor once .... I can't remember.

    I don't know why I couldn't figure out that the signature in question was Johnny Podres .... I have quite a few different pics and items that he signed.

    The pic below is hanging directly above my computer .... all I had to do was to look up image

    Oh well, that's what age does to a person I guess!
