I saw one on eBay a while back (maybe 4 yrs ago) but only after it sold. I think that one was a 1930-D. For either or both dates I would pay A LOT!

So then president Harding dies and the funeral train is rolling down the track.
I have an idea! Lets put a dime on the tracks and have it flattened.....

So was this a scheme to dilute the USD by the Soviets or was it just some small time crook trying to make fast buck? It seems a bit of a stretch for the former. Dimes? Really?

Sounds like a former soviet citizen trying his hand at counterfeiting like Henning did with Jefferson nickels.
