Crossovers - MS vs. circulated grades

I understand the stickiness with attempted crossovers in MS grades - the difference between a 65 and a 66 or a 64 and a 65 are quite minute and could be very subjective depending on which grader looks at the coin or what mood the grader is in. But what about in the circulated grades? The differences between the grade definitions for circulated coins are more clear IMO and maybe not so subjective. What is the collective opinion out there from those of you wise people with more experience crossing over between the TPGs?

I am attempting to crossover a couple of ANACS coins right now (one an AU58 1891 CC $10 and one an XF40 1893-CC $1), and am wondering what chance of success I have. Both are solid for their respective grades and compare well with other PCGS examples I have.

Depends on what the coins look like of course, but personally, I've had better luck crossing circulated coins - even high end AUs - than MS pieces. My two cents.

Positive BST transactions with: too many names to list! 36 at last count.
