My Trip this weekend to Vegas..Pictures inside, Sports Related..Especially BEARS FANS!!

I went to Vegas this weekend to see Keith Urban in concert. I stayed at my favorite place I always stay at when I am there, The Bellagio. My Host is the best she always hooks me up with great seats and a great room.

Most of the time I stay in The Bellagio Suites but this time my hostess hooked me up with a 2 bedroom penthouse suite for me and my girlfreind. Anyway, the first night I am there I am playing Blackjack and one of the pit bosses comes over and says hey Felicia aren't you a Bears fan? I said I grew up in chicago and yes I like the Bears why do you ask. He says the guy right behind you ( I'm sitting in 3rd base and hes on 1st base on the next table, for those that don't know that means his chair and my chair are back to back), he is one of the owners of the chicago bears. I said, how do you know? He said we are rating him and I got his players card and hes wearing a bears super bowl ring.
I turned around and said, excuse me are you with the bears? He was like yes I am I am one of the owners. I said really well what the hell took you so long to dump Grossman and Orten and pick up a decent quarterback. He stated laughing. I said when you get done over there, you just come sit here we need to talk about the bears situation. I have several questions for you,
So he sits down a few minutes and we talk about the bears, why Rivera was let go, all sorts of stuff. I asked him If I could be a ball girl at one of the games or go down on the field. I asked If I could goto the game on Nov 22nd ( Ill be in Chicago for the holidays and card show). He gave me his card told me to call him and we will make arrangements for me to go. I posted some pictures below of my trip and I had a great time. I wore the Bears Super Bowl Ring...see below..

Here are pictures of the penthouse suite: ( Thats my friend Angie that I took with me to Vegas)...

I haven't been to Vegas since I was married 11 years ago. Actually my anniversary was last Thursday. We had a window overlooking the strip and we had a blast. I do remember it was God awful hot there. 116-124 degrees the five days we were there and the humidity was in the single digits. We would watch the news and people were dying. They say "it's a dry heat you can't feel it." Bull$!$%. You can't feel it because your paralyzed from the scalp to the bottom of your feet or you're dead. Now if you like sticking your head it the oven or breathing through a hairdryer, ok, maybe you can't feel it. Sounds like you had a good time and I hope you came back with some money. We didn't. I made sure of that while we waited at the Vegas airport.

Most of my Vegas trips seem to have a different theme.. namely, me in the heavy throes of alcohol poisoning, drooling tobacco spit into a Dixie up at the Pai Gow table at the IP. Nice (and somewhat reassuring) to see that some of move in somewhat classier circles.

    Hi Felicia,

Thanks so much for sharing! Brings back a lot of sentimental memories!

The Bellagio was my late wife's and my favorite place whenever we visited Vegas.

She just loved the Jean Philippe chocolates; they were her favorites. I personally had an insatiable appetite for the vanilla nougat bars.

Looks like you had a great time with some very memorable moments! I'm not a Bears fan, but wearing that Super Bowl ring, even for the moment, must have felt great!

Living life to it's fullest is so important; it's nice to see that your life is filled with happy times.

Sounds like you had a good time and meeting the VP of the Bears was an extra bonus. Nice pictures. Great looking suite, and to think I was at the Golden Nugget in Vegas last month for a bowling tournment and I though their rooms were nice.

No no no-- Vegas is all about the North Strip, and Slots o' Fun. It's the only place I've ever been where a woman has actually taken a guy home with her after he had a hot roll in the dice pit (he held the dice for over an hour, it was a true table dump-- that place is probably still recovering). And who can argue with the Mega Dog?

Now go easy on Slots O Fun.

In 04, my 1st trip to Vegas, we did a tremendous amount of walking. We went into all the casinos just to take them all in.

As I was the only player in the group I decided to play in the off hours and join the rest for the tour of the hotel and casinos.

Well we come out of the Circus Circus and someone hands us a coupon book for Slots O Fun.

My mother in law was looking for a Wheel of Fortune machine and we found a few .25 machines that were full. We then found her a nickle machine and she played. I threw in $20 and hit it for 1800 nickles. Woot big payday. A whole $70 profit.

The .25 machines open up and I sit at a machine and my MIL at another. I throw in another $20 and have about $15 left and I tell my wife to play.

Now I need to tell you how my MIL and by default my wife played. They would cash out after every "hit" to hear the coins clink and then place 3 more quarters in and repeat the process until done.

The wife is not too big on gambling so she did a few spins and went to get up. I told he to play what was left in the hopper machine. Well she pulls out 3 more quarters and hits a bonus spin for 500 quarters. It was like someone gave he a lifetime supply fo gold.

I told her now to take the leftover coins, probably about $6 and play the machine to the left. Well she hits a bonus of 100 coins and actually starts to turn purple as she is so embarassed. I then load the quarters into a couple of cups and cash then in. There was $153 and change when all was said and done.

I pull a $20 out and tell her that was the cost of the winnings and she had to abide by the ages old rule (that I made up) that you have to spend winnings in Vegas.

The look on her face when she won was something I will treasure until I die.

And no I did not try the steroid dogs.
