This is mostly a placeholder post, though by the time I get some more new stuff ready to sell it'll be time for a new Weekly Swap thread.

I'll mention, however, that I just updated my Krause catalogs for the 17th, 18th, and 20th century volumes, so I have the following used Krause catalogs available:

    17th Century 3rd Edition (1601-1700 coverage, published 2003)
    18th Century 3rd Edition (1701-1800 coverage, published 2002)
    20th Century 2007 Edition (1901-2000 coverage)

All are in average condition for used books of this type- there is some curling or creasing of the covers and page corners in some cases. One page in the 20th Century volume tore down the middle but is neatly mended with clear tape. (Hey, that paper is thin!)

Would prefer to sell all three in a single lot. I don't know what to ask, really. Maybe $25 plus $10 shipping? Or make me a trade offer.

    SOLD ALL THREE, NOW.

This is an opportunity to make an "instant library" of somewhat recent Standard Catalogs- just find yourself a 19th century volume somewhere and you've got full Krause coverage from 1601 to the millennium.

I also have a number of other older miscellaneous numismatic books I'll probably sell off soon.

FS: Price includes US shipping, and payment by Paypal please.

1893 Half-Crown, PF64 a stunning example, well struck and beautiful toning. The pictures tell the story here.........

    $500

1887 Crown. a great example of this one! MS63

    $175

1887 GB Crown, nice overall toning (much nicer in hand, than it shows here; you'll like this coin!) NGC MS63

    $175

    image

Another Jubilee Crown, darker but irridescent toning on both sides. Muted luster due to the toning being darker (which probably held it back to a 63), but a strong strike for this type coin. NGC MS63

    $ 150

I cringe listing this one, as I love it, but it doesn't exactly "fit" with the rest of my collection. I've had a few of these, in MS65 and 66 too. This one however beat the others hands down: mostly red, and PQ to boot. It has fabulous overall eye appeal for a 64RB

    $280

1900 GB Penny, mostly red and a very nice example. Krause MS60/UNC price is $60

    $60

1897 6 pence, a great original example with light toning, Krause @ $45 for UNC, nothing listed for BU

    $50

1901 1/2 penny, has fingerprint toning on the obverse, but a pretty decent coin for the grade. priced under Krause MS60

    $25
